Over 100 wood, woodworking machinery and forestry exhibitors at the 2nd edition of Gabon WoodShow
New plywood products from Okoume wood to be showcased at Gabon WoodShow
29 May 2019, Gabon: Gabon WoodShow, the leading platform for wood, woodworking machinery and forestry sector in Central and West Africa, is being supported by over 100 exhibitors as it holds its second edition on 24-26 June 2019 at Jardin Botanique in Libreville, Gabon.
Exhibiting countries include Gabon, India, Belgium, China, Italy, France, Poland, Turkey, Slovenia, South Africa, Singapore, Germany, Hong Kong, Rwanda, Malaysia, Cameroon and Ethiopia. This year’s roster of exhibitors can maximize the opportunity to access thousands of specialized visitors keen on tapping new sources of top-quality supplies as well as access to a growing CEMAC market of 50 million population while enjoying zero customs fee with CEMAC seal on their products.
Gabon WoodShow is hosting manufacturers and suppliers of woodworking machinery and tools, trucks and other timber transport vehicles, cropping and harvesting machines, saw millers, hardwood and softwood, flooring, plywood and veneer, MDF, laminates and boards, finishing and fittings, furniture, paints, adhesives and glues, and software in a 5,000sq.m exhibition space.
One of the major highlights of this year’s exhibition is the launch of a new plywood product made from Okoume, a high-quality hardwood tree whose 90% exports come from Gabon. African wood first plywood production will also be highlighted as it will be featured for the first time during the three-day exhibition.
Gabon WoodShow is organized in partnership with the Gabon Special Economic Zone (GSEZ) under the patronage of Gabon President H.E. Ali Bongo Ondimba. It is a part of a series of global WoodShows held in Dubai and Cairo.
